Mother tongue as a medium of in­struc­tion

DEPART­MENT of Ed­u­ca­tion, Divi­sion of Benguet im­ple­ment­ing the RA10533 Act of 2013 that Mother Tongue should be taught al­ready in Kinder-Grade III as a medium of in­struc­tion in­side the class­room, ex­cept in teach­ing English and Filipino that should be taught in the re­quired lan­guage.

In the prov­ince of Benguet, mother tongue was cat­e­go­riz­ing into, KAKAIBA KA, Kankanaey, Kalan­guya, Ibaloy, Karao.

Schools that have a dif­fer­ent eth­nic group such as Ilo­cano, Ifu­gao, Ta­ga­log and oth­ers. They should adopt and learn the lan­guage from Benguet.
