Dads condemn senseless killing of USTsP president
THROUGH Resolution No. 12857-2017, the City Council during its regular session Monday presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy condemned in the strongest possible terms and as a heinous, senseless and dastardly act the killing and murder of Dr. Ricardo E. Rotoras, president of the University of Science and Technology in Southern Philippines (USTsP) last December 2, 2017 at Upper Carmen.
Dr. Rotoras was shot by unidentified men outside his home.
Legislators are urging the Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and other law enforcement agencies to exhaust all means to bring to the bar of justice the perpetrators of the crime. A separate resolution was adopted expressing the city’s deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.
