He said another person reported to the SITG that the woman could have witnessed the shooting incident.

Hortlilosa refused to further comment on the details as to how the woman became a possible witness.

“Naka-come up mi ani nga sketch kay naay nakakita sa iyaha pero dili na namo madetalye for security reason,”Hortillosa said.

Hortillosa urged the public to report to authorities the whereabouts of the said ‘witness’ so investigators can act on it.

The SITG also assured that they would put the ‘witness’ into the government’s witness protection program if needed.

Hortillosa is asking the ‘witness’ to appear and cooperate with the authorities and reveal the truth.

“It’s ok lang nga i-criticize mi for showing the face but para sa amo dako kaayo ni og ikatabang para ani nga kaso, ”Hortillosa said.

“SITG knows the risk of posting the photo but its more dangerous if the suspect will remain scot free,” he added.
