Agora has new po­lice head

THE ar­rest of a po­lice­man in an anti-il­le­gal drug oper­a­tion here ap­par­ently had re­sulted to the re­lief of his su­pe­rior from his post in Agora po­lice sta­tion.

Chief In­spec­tor Al­lan Cu­rato has been or­dered re­lieved as the sta­tion com­man­der of Po­lice Sta­tion 3 (PS3) in Agora, ef­fec­tive April 11. He was re­placed by Se­nior In­spec­tor Den­nis Quin­dara.

Cu­rato was made to re­port to the City Per­son­nel Hold­ing and Ac­count­ing Unit (CPHAU) of the Ca­gayan de Oro City Po­lice Of­fice (Cocpo) while wait­ing for his new as­sign­ment.

Quin­dara, on the other hand, came from the Po­lice Re­gional Of­fice-North­ern Min­danao (PRO-10) in Camp Ala­gar.

City po­lice di­rec­tor Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Nel­son Aganon said it is the re­spon­si­bil­ity of the sta­tion chief to mon­i­tor the ac­tiv­i­ties of his men.
