SP acts on benefits of retiring workers
THE 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor
Raineir Joaquin V. Uy continues to speedily act on the benefits of city workers.
During the regular session on October 1, legislators enacted ordinances appropriating funds for the terminal benefits of two retiring employees and, in line with the Magna Carta of Public Health Workers, granted salary increase to two other employees of the J.R. Borja General Hospital.
The ordinances were endorsed by the committees on finance, budget and appropriations; on health, sanitation and health insurance and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Edna M. Dahino, Maria Lourdes S. Gaane and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.
