500-KILOMETER GIRO D' LUCA KICKS OFF IN BOHOL

The three-day Motor-Ace Kawasaki Giro D’ Luca in Bohol kicks off at the Bellevue Hotels and Resorts in Panglao Island tomorrow. The fun ride will cover a total of 500 kilometers and will start with a daunting 200-kilometer ride from the host resort going out to Guindulman, Bohol and back on Friday. The participants will cross a 140-kilometer course from the resort to Carmen Public Market and back to the resort on the second day. To make the ride more exciting, the organizers will not yet announce the course for the third and final day, which will cover 160 kilometers. The participants come from Cebu, Panabo City, Digos, Iligan, Butuan, Agusan, Siargao, Iloilo, Manila, Pampanga, Hongkong, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia and United States./
