Ever since way back, children always seemed so excited to grow up and become adults. There have been games made to “tell” the future like Flames, Magic 8 Ball and Mash. These games are fun, creative and exciting to play as kids wait on the answer as the “future” unfolds. Aside from the games mentioned, there’s one that stands out among the rest: the Paper Fortune Teller.

The Paper Fortune Teller, otherwise called cootie catcher or paku-paku, is a form of origami used to foretell someone’s future. Parts of the paper are labeled with colors and numbers that would serve as options for the player to choose. The person operating the origami manipulates the paper by the choices made by the player. Finally, after several shifts, the operator unveils the hidden message tucked underneath one of the pyramids! There are absolutely no rules as to what words and numbers should be written on the paper. One can be as imaginative as he can be!

Not only does this game foresee the future, it also predicts other things. In this case, it can definitely reveal which character you are most likely to be if you were in “Game of Thrones”! Interested to find out if you’re Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen? Stay tuned to www.sunstar.com.ph for the video.
