Puma Se7ens starts to­day

Lo­cal foot­ballers gather to­day at the Don Bosco Tech­nol­ogy Cen­ter (DBTC) for the first of the two-day PUMA SE7ENS Cup.

A to­tal of 105 teams are com­pet­ing in 14 dif­fer­ent di­vi­sions - Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Boys Un­der-19, Girls Un­der-19, Boys Un­der-17, Girls Un­der-17, Boys Un­der-15, Girls Un­der-15, Boys Un­der-13, Boys Un­der-11, Mixed Un­der-9, Mixed Un­der-7, 35-and-Above and Cor­po­rate.

Hosted by BRO Na­tion­als FC, the two-day foot­ball fes­ti­val will also fea­ture side events like jug­gling and shoot­ing con­tests. There will also be food booths for spec­ta­tors and play­ers alike.

The PUMA SE7ENS Cup prom­ises a fes­tive mood that ‘com­bines fun and ex­cit­ing el­e­ments of sports, mu­sic, en­ter­tain­ment and friend­ship’.

Af­ter the Cebu tour­na­ment, there will be pro­vin­cial and re­gional legs to fol­low in the weeks to come, in Romblon and Pam­panga. A PUMA SE7ENS Cup Na­tional Fi­nals in Manila is also in the works.
