Fashion, food, fun
The Pop District Bazaar has drawn crowds since its first run in 2015, as Cebuanos have come to expect over 100 different fashion, food, and lifestyle brands in one place. For the sixth run of the bazaar, it was again held at the Oakridge Pavilion—perfect for spending hours shopping and eating, with its air conditioned comfort and ample parking. Despite the size of the Pavilion, Pop District always manages to gather a full house for each weekend it runs.
The young entrepreneurial visionaries behind Pop District Bazaar, Charm de Leon, Ruby Pansoy, Jayneil Enriquez, and Erika Pineda, anticipated that their regular customers will always ask what’s new at Pop District. Over 150 brands offered a gamut of fun finds—clothing, tassel earrings, passport holders, succulents, and more—and to the shoppers’ glee, every one was on sale to celebrate Pop District’s second anniversary! Several bloggers and online influencers from Cebu and Manila joined in to meet and greet their followers and sell some of their own fashionable picks. There were also mini events like makeup tutorials, pole sport perfor- mances, and drinking games by Tanduay Select. A major highlight for this Bazaar was the Bai Music Festival, putting forth homegrown talents from Cebu’s flourishing music scene.
If you didn’t make it to the last Pop District Bazaar, not to worry—the event runs three times a year, so there’s still a next time. Congratulations to the Pop District team for another well-organized bazaar; we’re anticipating the next to be just as good, or even better!
