OTHER “POSSIBLES”

Speculations over who might run against Gov. Junjun Davide have floated a number of names other than Gwen’s, including Rep. Benhur Salimbangon (on his last term); Rep. Samsam Gullas; a member of the Durano clan; another Garcia (probably Pablo John, the former congressman); Mandaue City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing; and Presidential Legislative Liaison Ade Sitoy.

Try to shoot down each, given conditions and circumstance. Any speculation, though, is just that and many factors will still influence the decision on COC-filing deadline.
