WERE DOCUMENTS SHREDDED at the Department of Justice last April 5 before the takeover of the new secretary who succeeded Vitaliano Aguirre II? Examine Aguirre’s denial:

If there were, he didn’t know anything about it;  Assuming there were, the papers shredded were waste, unused and unneeded;

It would benefit the new DOJ chief, as the offices were cleaned up for his coming.

How could Aguirre be sure the documents shredded were waste? He didn’t know anything about it, he said. Who gave the order and who certified that what were shredded were of no use? Did it follow protocol?

The timing was bad, especially that Aquirre had various controversial and questionable transactions during his term.
