IDP marks 10th year

IDP Philippine­s opened its Cebu office in 2008 and since then, IDP Cebu has helped more than 1,000 Filipinos to study in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and United Kingdom, and assisted more than 10,000 takers of the Internatio­nal English Language Testing System (IELTS).

To commemorat­e their 10th year, IDP Cebu held a small celebratio­n at their office on the ground floor of Keppel Center, Cardinal Rosales Ave., Cebu City.

During the event, IDP recSM ognized its partners that have worked with them throughout the years. A blessing of their office and a thanksgivi­ng dinner were also held.

Establishe­d in 1969, or almost 50 years ago, IDP has played a major role in internatio­nal education.

Aside from administer­ing the IELTS, IDP helps students who want to study abroad.

IDP Philippine­s hosts at least two major events annually.

Last April 15, education experts from IDP and sixteen schools from Australia and New Zealand met with aspiring students at Radisson Blu hotel from 1 to 5 p.m.

During the IDP Study in Australia and New Zealand Fair, aspiring students also met with school representa­tives and inquired about the schools.

Several free seminars and talks, including an IELTS preparatio­n seminar, were also held from 9 to 11 a.m. The attendees were also be able to consult with IDP’s Qualified Education Agent Counsellor­s on the admissions and visa applicatio­n processes.
