■ FOR BEING SHIRTLESS OR FOR DRINKING IN PUBLIC, 138 MORE GET STERN WARNING FROM POLICE

The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) sent home 138 individuals, including 57 minors, during their nightly patrol for the Oplan Kalsada last Saturday. Based on records of the Police Community Relations of the CCPO, the police stations involved gave 20 persons stern warning for not wearing shirts, 32 for drinking in public, 20 for smoking, five for spitting and urinating in prohibited places and three for violations of other ordinances. The operation started at 10 p.m. until dawn on Sunday. Some of the individuals were also fined. The 11 police stations under CCPO conducted the Oplan Kalsada.
