YOU CAN SEND LAWYERS TO A POLICE OR DOJ PROBE BUT HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH TERRORISM?

Businessman Peter Lim’s motion for Department of Justice to stop its new inquiry into his alleged drug ties has been granted. It’s ended and the case is deemed submitted for resolution.

But how would he, or anyone else in similar straits, deal with acts of violence, such as the bombing last week at his car display shop and, earlier, an attempted gun assassination of his brother at their karaoke bar?

Lawyers wouldn’t be of much help when law enforcers seem incapable or unwilling to end the tolerated, if not encouraged, impunity.
