“DON’T ask us to prove you wrong, prove first na hindi ka nagsisinungaling.”

Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio yesterday challenged Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on her social media post.

Duterte-Carpio, on her Facebook post yesterday, lashed out at Senator Trillanes for saying that he did not know that the president is a killer and theft when he asked for support in his vice presidential bid last 2015.

“Na-confine ka ba ng matagal sa mental? Alam na ng buong mundo ang isyu pero ikaw hindi mo pa rin alam? You are lying,” she said.

Duterte-Carpio also pointed out that the issues on Davao Death Squad have existed 20 years ago.

She said that the issue of DDS has been used in “Ad nauseam” -a Latin term for argument or other discussion that has been continuing to [the point of] nausea.

The mayor added that it was in 2009 that then Commission on Human Rights Chair Leila Delima conducted the Davao Death Squad investigation, the same issue was still raised in the 2010 elections.

She said with this background, it was questionable that Trillanes did not know of these issues beforehand.

Duterte-Carpio also said since they have now established lying, she challenged Trillanes to prove that the papers of bank accounts are not fake.

“Maiba pa tayo, since now we have established lying, prove to everybody that that piece of shit paper of bank accounts you are waving around is not fake, Pinocchio. Tigas ng mukha mo magsabi pamilya ng mamamatay tao at magnanakaw kami pero nagtatago ka sa parliamentary immunity. Pakita mo bayag mo, huwag mo itago yan sa Senado,” she said.

Duterte-Carpio added that she will not be like Vice President Jejomar Binay who had been subjected to hearings under Senate Blue Ribbon committee for his family’s wealth after he was exposed by Trillanes.

“If you made VP Binay go away without a fight, ang babae na Bisaya hindi umaatras. Kayang-kaya ko makipag-away ng tatlong dekada, laking Mindanao ako. Kung ang Presidente ng Pilipinas ay inaaway ko, ikaw pa ba? Kala mo porket tahimik ako dahil takot ako, kagwang, umiiwas lang ako sa away. Pero may hangganan ang lahat, now is your time to shine… Don’t ask us to prove you wrong, prove first na hindi ka nagsisinungaling.”

“Fight!” she said.
