6 nabbed in anti-drug ops

ZAM­BOANGA - Six peo­ple were ar­rested in two sep­a­rate drug op­er­a­tions in Zam­boanga City, an of­fi­cial said on Tues­day, De­cem­ber 5.

Philip­pine Drug En­force­ment Agency (PDEA)-Zam­boanga Penin­sula Di­rec­tor Lyn­don As­pa­cio iden­ti­fied the ar­rested sus­pects as Jayvee Sigeue, 29; Jun Mark Sigeue, 28; Vir­ginia Sigeue, 53; Ana­lyn Sigeue, 32; Reyne­lyn Sa­bal, 33; and, Elmer Aniñon, 40.

As­pa­cio said that all ex­cept Aniñon were ar­rested in a drug bust around 11 p.m. Mon­day in the vil­lage of Pu­tik.

Con­fis­cated from the five sus­pects were five sa­chets of sus­pected shabu (crys­tal meth), il­le­gal drug para­pher­na­lia, and P500 marked money.

Cases for vi­o­la­tions of Sec­tion 5 (Sell­ing of Il­le­gal Drugs), Sec­tion 11 (Pos­ses­sion of Il­le­gal Drugs) and Sec­tion 12 (Pos­ses­sion of Drug Para­pher­na­lia), Ar­ti­cle II of Repub­lic Act 9165 (Com­pre­hen­sive Dan­ger­ous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed in court against the five sus­pects.
