Rachel Alejandro shares life changing decision

Sun.Star Davao - - SHOW -

"Not to have kids." This was the answer of Rachel Alejandro on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" when asked by the show's host about the "last life-changing decision" she made.

On Wednesday night, Alejandro explained why decided not to have children.

“People always ask me ‘bakit?’ I know it’s weird and it’s not normal and everyday and I ask myself am I going to regret this. But it's a choice I’ve made. And I guess it would be 'the most lifechanging choice.' But thankfully may mga pamangkin ako who are growing up, who want to be singers like me. So feeling ko parang sila na rin 'yung mga anak ko,” Alejandro said.

Alejandro stressed that she discussed her decision not to have kids with her husband.

Alejandro is now busy promoting the movie "Ang Larawan," which is based on the play "A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino" by National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin, and features music from Ryan Cayabyab and lyrics from Rolando Tinio.

It also stars Joanna Ampil, Paulo Avelino, Robert Arevalo, Nonie Buencamino, Menchu LauchengcoYulo, among others.

It will open in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25 as part of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
