Tongo wins weekly tenpin

BAM Tongo emerged champion in the Datba weekly qualifying bowling tournament held at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center Tuesday evening.

Tongo struck for a total of 651 pinfalls after four games to annex the P800 top prize as he also booked a seat in the monthly finals.

He prevailed over Jess Rule and Ivan Awid who grabbed the next two spots. Rule rolled a total of 635 pins while Awid scored 609. They received P600 and P400, respectively.

The Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association weekly qualifying tournament will resume Saturday, July 14.
