Chop-chop woman Re­mains placed in­side a garbage bag in Ca­ban­tian

GARBAGE col­lec­tors of the Davao City En­vi­ron­ment and Nat­u­ral Re­sources Of­fice (Cenro) on Sun­day, July 29, found a chopped fe­male body in­side a black garbage bag placed in front of a pawn­shop on Ca­ban­tian Road in Buhangin in Davao City.

Buhangin po­lice ini­tial in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed that Ranel Paña, 37, a garbage col­lec­tor, along with his other col­leagues, dis­cov­ered the garbage bag where the chopped up hu­man body was placed in a trans­par­ent plas­tic cel­lo­phane was placed at around 5:45 a.m., dur­ing their reg­u­lar rounds.

The re­mains have been brought to the An­gel Fu­neral Homes along F. Tor­res Street by po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tors SPO1 Ian Irvin Fer­nan­dez and PO3 Alex Do­ma­gas.

The bag con­tained the head, both arms, both legs, and up­per torso. The lower torso and things were miss­ing.

In­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.
