Chop-chop woman Remains placed inside a garbage bag in Cabantian
GARBAGE collectors of the Davao City Environment and Natural Resources Office (Cenro) on Sunday, July 29, found a chopped female body inside a black garbage bag placed in front of a pawnshop on Cabantian Road in Buhangin in Davao City.
Buhangin police initial investigation revealed that Ranel Paña, 37, a garbage collector, along with his other colleagues, discovered the garbage bag where the chopped up human body was placed in a transparent plastic cellophane was placed at around 5:45 a.m., during their regular rounds.
The remains have been brought to the Angel Funeral Homes along F. Torres Street by police investigators SPO1 Ian Irvin Fernandez and PO3 Alex Domagas.
The bag contained the head, both arms, both legs, and upper torso. The lower torso and things were missing.
Investigation is ongoing.
