48 surrenderees graduate from Bahay Pagbabago
The graduation ceremonies, which was led by Mayor Norberto "Ross" Gamboa and Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO) Director for Administration Superintendent Maylyn Domingo, was held at Barangay Sta. Lucia in this town.
Gamboa said that the graduates are the second batch of drug surrenderees to finish the reformation program.
During the ceremony, he urged the reformists to totally disengage themselves from dangerous drugs and illegal activities.
He added that reformists, as well as all drug surrenderees, must maximize the program offered to them by the national government for their rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, Domingo congratulated the graduates for their initiative to reform themselves and abandon the use of illegal drugs.
She also urged other drug users and pushers who refuse to turn themselves in to voluntarily surrender and spare themselves from danger.
She added that Philippine National Police and the national government are serious on the campaign against illegal drugs and will not stop until the country is cleansed of its proliferation.
