7 drug suspects slain in Bulacan
OLI VAS, Pampanga - At least seven drug suspects were killed in anti-drug operations in Bulacan, Thursday.
Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat, Bulacan police provincial director, identified the slain as Jose Noli Espanos and Reynald Lipana, both of Barangay Bitungol, Norzagaray town; aliases Charlie and Dong, both of Barangay Mabolo, Malolos City; Jun Masibag, a resident of Barangay Caingin, San Rafael town; and aliases Baba and Avatar, both of Barangay Batia, Bocaue t ow n.
Espanos and Lipana, tried to fire towards policemen after they noticed their presence and a brief exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in their death, Caramat said.
Recovered from them were two caliber revolvers, four sachets of shabu and marked money used in the buybust operation, he said.
Charlie and Avatar also traded shots with policemen but were also killed after a brief fire fight. Recovered from them were two calibre .38 revolvers, a sachet of shabu and marked money.
Caramat said Jun Masibag was forcibly taken outside his house by gunmen and then killed him. Recovered from the crime scene were four spent shells and a deformed bullet from a calibre .45 pistol.
