CL 2nd in number of drugaffected villages in PH
CENTRAL Luzon on Wednesday revealed that Central Luzon is second in the list of regions with high numbers of drug-affected barangays.
During his meeting with the mayors from all over the country in Malacañang, the President identified the National Capital Region as top on the list, followed by Central Luzon and the Negros Island Region (NIR) as the third-most drug affected region in the Philippines.
Victorias City Mayor Frederick Francis Palanca, president of Association of Chief Executives (ACE) in Negros, said the President reiterated his call to the local chief executives to help the administration’s campaign against drugs.
“He told us to do our jobs and he will back us up. Otherwise, he will run after us,” Palanca sai d.
