5 drug sus­pects killed, 2 oth­ers found dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pam­panga - Five drug per­son­al­i­ties were killed while two oth­ers were found dead in Bu­la­can, Thurs­day.

The killed drug sus­pects were iden­ti­fied as a cer­tain alias Ti­pak and an uniden­ti­fied man, both of Barangay Mu­zon, City of San Jose Del Monte; Marilyn Cruz, 26, a res­i­dent of Barangay Lun­gos, Pulilan town and a cer­tain Roann, of Barangay Banga, Plar­idel town, and a cer­tain Edor, of Barangay Balite, Malo­los City.

The bod­ies were an uniden­ti­fied fe­male dis­cov­ered at the side of the road in Barangay Cay­sio, Sta. Maria town and an uniden­ti­fied male found along Si­tio Pa­c­ulis road, Barangay Gaya-gaya, City of San Jose Del Monte.

Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Romeo Cara­mat, act­ing pro­vin­cial di­rec­tor of Bu­la­can po­lice, said that Ti­pak and the uniden­ti­fied man no­ticed the pres­ence of po­lice­men dur­ing the buy-bust op­er­a­tion, drew their guns and fired to­wards them.

Af­ter a brief fire­fight, the two died on the spot, Cara­mat said. Re­cov­ered from the sus­pects were a sa­chet of shabu, two hand­guns and P500 marked money.

Sus­pects Cruz and Roann were stand­ing at the road wait­ing for some­body when gun­men rid­ing-in-tan­dem shot them sev­eral times. The two died on the spot.
