Too much

affordable yet quality education, who were stuck inside the campus for days devoid of power supply and perhaps, food, while the clash between government troops and the terrorist group are on-going. No one knows better the fear that a war causes than those who were there to see and experience it firsthand.

As of Thursday, many residents of Marawi and students of MSU are already evacuating to the neighboring region but there are still others out there who have not get out yet. We heard of the news but we didn’t hear all of it. How much unhelpful information had already been disseminated and how many vital ones are left out, unreported? We couldn’t help but asked but we know that there is something missing… something vital, something crucial.

The worst part of being under a siege also is to be bombarded with a lot of information, some true and some fake, which others are just carelessly circulating, unmindful of its possible impl i cat i ons.

Sometimes news just struck harder than reality and the worst thing is to be hit by something that appears credible but is actually far from the truth, fake news so to speak.

Then comes the so-called “trolls” who are always ready to defend their preferred leaders before even coming out with a solution to defend our own countrymen who had been affected by the havoc caused by the local terrorist group. Before this news broke out, a war has already been waged between brains and the br ai nl ess, bet w een ideologies… between our countrymen. It is a war that is physically non-violent but could be diabolical if overlooked. There is so much to say and do but it appears that there is much, much more to say.
