Robbery in Band with criminal case no. RANG-17-03100-CR with no bail recommended.

Their case stemmed from an incident report that showed the alleged robbery-extortion that transpired on December 30, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Apo Street in Angeles City.

The victims, identified as Park Min Hoon and Lee Ki Hoon, said the police officers took their cash, bags, shoes, a gold ring and a speaker.

They were reportedly brought to the police station, where they were allegedly beaten by the police officers.

The victims claimed the police officers demanded cash, amounting to P310,000, in exchange for their liberty.

They said the suspects threatened to kill them if they failed to produce the amount.

The Korean nationals identified the suspects through the personal data sheets shown to them by the investigators on January 4.

Before their arrest, the ex-law enforcers were first dismissed from the PNP service earlier this September 2017, said Corpus.

He disclosed that the suspects are now detained at the Angeles City District Jail in Camp Tomas Pepito in Barangay Sto. Domingo.

“We will continue to weed out hoodlums among our ranks and we will continue to track them down until fair justice is served,” Corpus said in a statement.
