PDEA-3 nabs 4 sus­pects in Bu­la­can drug st­ing

CITY OF SAN FER­NANDO - Four sus­pected drug per­son­al­i­ties were ar­rested by joint op­er­a­tives of Philip­pine Drug En­force­ment Agency Re­gion III (PDEA3), Bu­la­can Po­lice Pro­vin­cial Of­fice and San Rafael po­lice in an anti-drug op­er­a­tion con­ducted in San Rafael town in nearby Bu­la­can prov­ince Tues­day.

PDEA-3 Re­gional Di­rec­tor Joseph C. Ladip iden­ti­fied the sus­pects as Er­win Ba­jaro , 53, Alvin Cal­dozo, 42, An­gel­ica Bo­rina l, 26, and Vic­to­ria Ji­meno, 30, all res­i­dents of Barangay Sam­paloc, San Rafael, Bu­la­can.

“The anti-drug op­er­a­tion tran­spired at 1:40 pm in Barangay Sam­paloc wherein a PDEA agent who acted as poseur buyer suc­ceeded to se­cure a drug deal from the sus­pects for the pur­chase of 50 grams of shabu for the agreed price of P300,000”, Ladip said.

He dis­closed that the four drug per­son­al­i­ties have been in the PDEA radar for al­most a month un­til their ar­rest.

Con­fis­cated from the sus­pects were four trans­par­ent plas­tic sa­chets con­tain­ing more or less 50 grams of shabu with an es­ti­mated street value of P300,000, var­i­ous drug para­pher­na­lia, one black Honda civic and buy-bust money used in the op­er­a­tion.

The sus­pects are now de­tained at the PDEA-3 Jail Fa­cil­ity in Dios­dado Ma­ca­pa­gal Gov­ern­ment Cen­ter, Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fer­nando, Pam­panga.

Charges for vi­o­la­tion of Sec­tion 5 (sale of dan­ger­ous drugs) in re­la­tion to Sec­tion 26 para­graph B (con­spir­acy to sell), Sec­tion 12 (pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia), Ar­ti­cle 2 of Repub­lic Act 9165 are be­ing read­ied for fil­ing in court.
