‘Un­das’ in Pam­panga gen­er­ally peace­ful

CITY OF SAN FER­NANDO - The ob­ser­vance of All Saints’Day in Pam­panga was gen­er­ally peace­ful, said Pam­panga Po­lice Pro­vin­cial Of­fice Di­rec­tor Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Joel Con­sulta yes­ter­day.

Ac­cor di ng to Con­sulta, no un­to­ward in­ci­dents or il­le­gal ac­tiv­i­ties re­lated to All Saints’ Day were recorded by the Pam­panga po­lice for the whole day Novem­ber 1.

He noted that while all po­lice per­son­nel were de­ployed in var­i­ous ceme­ter­ies, public places and con­ver­gence points to pro­vide quick re­sponse, they were only uti­lized to as­sist in­di­vid­u­als and mo­torists.

“Gener ally peace­ful na­man. ‘Yung mga tao tahimi k lang sa mga pun­tod ng ma­hal nila sa buhay. May kaunt­ing kasiya­han pero con­tained na­man dahil nakipag-co­op­er­ate na­man sila sa

mga pwede at hindi pwe­deng dal­hin,” he said.

Con­sulta added that the public also will­ingly sub­mit ted the pro­hibi ted i tems they brought at the in­spec­tion area in­stalled at the en­trances of public ceme­ter­ies.

“Marami -rami din kam­ing na-con­fis­cate pero karami­han knives lang. Sig­uro gagamitin ni­lang pan­li­nis ng pun­tod pero bini­gay na­man nila,” he said.

Con­sulta, mean­while, com­mended the po­lice all over the province for a suc­cess­ful mon­i­tor­ing and sur­veil­lance dur­ing the two­day hol­i­day.

He said that with the com­bined ef­forts of all sta­tions and the co­op­er­a­tion of the public, Ka­pam­pan­gans were able to peace­fully ob­serve All Saints’ Day.
