An­ge­les City barangay chief airs sup­port to PNP’s Oplan Tokhang

AN­GE­LES CITY — A vil­lage chair­man in this city has ex­pressed sup­port to the gov­ern­ment’s anti-il­le­gal drugs drive dubbed Oplan Tokhang re­cently re­stored by the Philip­pine Na­tional Po­lice ( PNP) .

Barangay Bal­ibago Chair­man Rode­lio “Tony” Ma­mac, a re­tired po­lice of­fi­cer, said that Oplan Tokhang has been proven to be ef­fec­tive.

Ma­mac and other barangay lead­ers in Bal­ibago ac­com­pa­nied the city po­lice in send­ing sum­mons to sus­pected drug push­ers in said vill age.

Ma­mac said he re­cently dis­trib­uted new uni­forms to Ban­tay Bayan mem­bers for the res­i­dents to eas­ily iden­tify them.
