STAKEHOLDERS… ON CALL FOR SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT (SBM)
GRACE L. DATU
“Coming together is a Beginning… is a Success...”
School Based Management (SBM) is the decentralization of authority from the central office going down to the regional offices, division offices and to the school principals. This will give the school the authority to decide for the improvement of the school.
School Base Management is the cooperation of all the stakeholders in the school, teachers, school principal, parents, LGU’s, students and the community itself. Letting the school be recognized its needs for improvement to further understand the learner’s situation. In order to come up with a contingency plan in improving their performance is a priority of this program.
The school encourages the community involvement in taking their part to form different programs for the different aspects of the school. Together with the school principal, teachers, parents and other stakeholders, the school will come up to a decision where the priority needs are to be taken with an immediate action and the different leaders and committees formed will constantly monitor and assure progress.
School Based Management calls for actions coming from the schools stakeholders, actions for improvement and for progress. Together we can make excellence a tradition.
