8 close contacts test negative of Covid-19

MMayor Romy Pecson said the eight underwent swab testing as part of the contact tracing conducted by the local government.

Patient M4 is a 28 year old female resident of

Barangay San Miguel here who is also a medical frontliner at nearby Mabalacat City.

"Lahat ng walong close contacts ay negatibo sa RT-PCR test ngunit isasailalim pa rin sila sa 14-day strict quarantine," the municipal government stated.

Pecson said Patient M4 is currently recuperating at the Diosdado Macapagal Medical Center. "Kasalukuyan pa ring naka confine sa Diosdado Macapagal Center si Patient M4 pero siya ay nasa mabuting kalagayan."

Of the four COVID 19 cases, two patients have recovered and one had died.

The mayor earlier vowed to provide assistance to the patient and her family.

The municipal government appealed to its constituents to observe health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID 19 in the town.

"We are asking everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of Patient M4 and to stop all forms of discrimination to the family and to the patient," the local government stated.

AGALANG --- All of the eight persons who had a close contact with the town's fourth COVID 19 patient tested negative of the virus.
