Just asking

-

BB. PILIPINAS-UNIVERSE – The franchise of the Bb. Pilipinas-Universe is being offered to Gov. Chavit Singson. Just asking: Will he accept the offer…and if so when?

Gov. Singson has been of great help financially to the New Yorkbased contest, earning him the title of sorts, “Mr. Universe.” Even if he accepts the offer, perhaps Gov. could ask Bb. Pilipinas Charity under the able leadership of Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta to still handle the beauty pageant.

Mrs. Araneta’s record is remarkable, producing four Miss Universe winners (Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray) and two first runners-up (Miriam Quiambao, Janine Togonon).

This is not to include five Miss International winners (Aurora Pijuan, Melanie Marquez, Precious Lara Quigaman, Bea Rose Santiago, Kylie Versoza), not counting Gemma Cruz, who won when Bb. Pilipinas Charity was not around yet. MORE QUESTIONS – Again just asking. Three beauty title holders – they won the same year – are said to be very lucky. They “hooked” sweethearts who are billionaires and super generous. They were gifted with houses, cars, jewelry, and fat bank accounts.

Who are they?

Hello World…but let’s stop at that.

A movie-TV star gives the impression she’s cheap. Actually she’s a graduate of the country’s finest schools. But why this cheap image? Well, blame the roles which she does realistically, earning her the title “pambansang kabit.”
