KIDAPAWAN CITY – Three per­sons sus­pected to have been ped­dling drugs were killed while three oth­ers were nabbed when au­thor­i­ties in North Cota­bato raided their hide­outs dawn of Satur­day in what the po­lice termed as “One Time, Big Time Anti-Il­le­gal Drugs Op­er­a­tion.” Killed dur­ing the si­mul­ta­ne­ous raids were Mon­aim Pa­glas and Mah­dem Ba­gun­dang, both res­i­dents of Purok-5, Barangay Dung­guan in M’lang, North Cota­bato. The slain sus­pects, ac­cord­ing to re­ports from M’lang PNP, en­gaged the raid­ing team in a gun bat­tle. In Banisi­lan, an­other sus­pected drug ped­dler iden­ti­fied as Bien­venido Gum­ban was killed. Re­ports from Banisi­lan Po­lice said Gum­ban drew his pis­tol when the team raided his house around 5:30 a.m. on Satur­day. Also killed in Pikit town was Alis Blah, a sus­pected drug courier who, ac­cord­ing to po­lice, en­gaged them in a gun bat­tle. Ar­rested dur­ing the oper­a­tions were Nashrudin Ganang Buisan, 21; Norodin Nan­dang Amu­lan alias Odin, 30; Ken­neth Pasan­dalan Cu­dales, 29; and Vanessa Ayu­nan. The oper­a­tions yielded 19 plas­tic sa­chets con­tain­ing a white crys­talline sub­stance be­lieved to be shabu, and other para­pher­na­lia. (Malu Cadelina Ma­nar)

LA­GUNA – Po­lice killed a sus­pected drug dealer in a shootout at Phase 1A, Serv -1, Oli­varez South Homes, Barangay Sto. To­mas, on Fri­day noon. The sus­pect, iden­ti­fied as alias Bunso, died at around 3 p.m., said Su­per­in­ten­dent Rey­dante Ariza, city po­lice chief. Re­cov­ered at the crime scene were 28 sa­chets of shabu with DDB value of ₱250,000.00, a Glock .9MM with 15 live bul­lets, an Arm­scor 202 Re­volver with five live bul­lets, and a mo­bile phone. PAM­PANGA – 24 drug push­ers were ar­rested in Pam­panga fol­low­ing oper­a­tions con­ducted by po­lice from 4 a.m. of Sept. 14 un­til 4 a.m. of Sept. 15. 83 pieces of plas­tic sa­chets sus­pected to con­tain il­le­gal drugs, drug para­pher­na­lia, along with sev­eral firearms and am­mu­ni­tions, were re­cov­ered from the sus­pects, ac­cord­ing to a state­ment is­sued by the Pam­panga provin­cial po­lice of­fice on Satur­day. In a re­port to Chief Supt. Amador Valera Corpuz, Po­lice Re­gional Of­fice 3 (PRO3) re­gional di­rec­tor, Se­nior Supt. Joel Ren­toy Con­sulta, Pam­panga provin­cial di­rec­tor said the si­mul­ta­ne­ous po­lice oper­a­tions were con­ducted by 10 po­lice sta­tions and Provin­cial Drug En­force­ment Units (PDEU) in the mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties of Po­rac, Mi­nalin, Lubao, Arayat, Florid­ablanca, San Luis, Guagua, Sta. Rita and the cities of San Fer­nando and Ma­bal­a­cat. Among those ar­rested were Vic­to­ri­ano Lansan­gan alias “Jun Pineda”, 44; An­gelito Cu­nanan dela Cruz, 23; Elvie Ino­cen­cio Al­fonso, 30; Pol Ig­na­cio de Dios, 34; Ar­cel Ig­na­cio de Dios, 32; and Jer­ald Lu­man­lan Ga­musa, 18. Also ap­pre­hended was Rey Tua­zon Di­mat­u­lac alias “Muko”, 40. Then there’s Marvin Mag­paayo Aquino alias “Bob”, Jovy Baluyut Men­doza, 40, Rode­lio San­tos Nico, 42, Pre­cious Bullen Agila, 36, El­iza Li­wanag Haboc, 46, and Cezar Es­tayu Bernardino alias Shad, 55. In San Fer­nando, oper­a­tives led by Supt. Roland Laba­dia Ago­hob, ar­rested Vin­cent Amu­rao Na­guit alias “Bubuy”, 19. Mean­while, the DEU Arayat MPS ar­rested Hans Al­cala Can­las, 49. More­over, two oper­a­tions con­ducted by DEU Florid­ablanca MPS re­sulted in the ar­rest of Aldrin Mo­rales Buna Cruz alias “Den­den”, 26, Karen Reyes Mallari, 20, and Jerry La­gahit Ba­toto alias “Toto,” 53. In Ma­bal­a­cat City, a sep­a­rate anti-drug op­er­a­tion re­sulted in the ap­pre­hen­sion of Paulo Gavieres Feli­ciano alais “Tisoy”, 34 and Cheysh­err Galang Bri­ones alias “Sey­sey,” 26. Ar­rested in San Luis, was An­gel­bert Br­roga Al­caide alias “An­gel”, 21. Ar­rested in Sta Rita is Aga Lumba Ayson, 29. Mean­while, oper­a­tives of Mex­ico un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Supt. Wil­fredo Paulo, ap­pre­hended Frenz Celis Daniel, 18.
