‘From Manila to Milan’ in ‘I-Witness’ 18th anniv special

AFTER last week’s heart wrenching story of Kabu, the elephant who crossed the border from Myanmar to Thailand, Jay Taruc now shows the tenacity of two people while chasing success as part of I-Witness’ 18th anniversary series.

Jay flies to Milan to meet Marvin Aguda, a Filipino dishwasher-turned-pizza shop owner. He relates how a reversal of fortune made him successful as a Filipino entrepreneur in a foreign land.

While some Filipinos go to Milan to chase their dreams, an Italian came to the Philippines and found success. Roberto Bellini captured the heart of food lovers when he established a restaurant carrying his name in Cubao.
