A security guard was arrested after he allegedly raped his fellow guard in Quezon City after midnight Monday.

The Cubao Police Station (PS-7) identified the suspect as Andrew Ticala, 27, and the victim, “Luis,” 24.

Police probers learned that the victim and Ticala were both bed spacers at 8th Avenue, Barangay Socorro in Cubao, Quezon City.

According to the complainant, he was sleeping in their rented room around 12:15 a.m. when he felt something was penetrating him from behind.

When he turned around, he was shocked to see Ticala forcing himself into him.

“Luis” immediately sought assistance from barangay authorities which resulted in the apprehension of Ticala. The suspect was brought to the Cubao Police Station and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 8353 or the anti-rape law.
