Ex-PBA coach nabbed for fir­ing gun

For­mer Philip­pine Bas­ket­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (PBA) Coach Dante Sil­ve­rio was ar­rested on Fri­day af­ter al­legedly fir­ing his gun due to an ar­gu­ment with his neigh­bor in Makati City. Po­lice ar­rested Sil­ve­rio, for­mer coach of PBA teams Toy­ota and Shell shortly af­ter he al­legedly fired near his res­i­dence in Barangay Ma­gal­lanes, Makati City. In­ves­ti­ga­tion showed that the in­ci­dent oc­curred at around 10:23 in the morn­ing in­side the Ecol­ogy Vil­lage, Barangay Ma­gal­lanes, Makati City. Ac­cord­ing to Po­lice Chief Insp. Gideon Ines of the Makati City Po­lice, Sil­ve­rio has a long-time feud with his neigh­bor which led to an ar­gu­ment on Fri­day. The said squab­ble led to Sil­ve­rio fir­ing his cal­iber. 38. This prompted their neigh­bor to call in the po­lice but Sil­ve­rio was able to es­cape on board his white For­tuner and was later ar­rested at his of­fice in Chino Ro­ces Ex­ten­sion, Makati City. Po­lice weren’t able to re­cover the said firearm. Sil­ve­rio is cur­rently un­der hos­pi­tal ar­rest at the Makati Med­i­cal Cen­ter af­ter he com­plained of hav­ing chest and stom­ach pains. He will be fac­ing charges of alarm and scan­dal.
