Borbon barangay gets P100T aid

The Cebu provincial government is set to extend P100,000 as financial assistance to Barangay Bingay, Borbon town, Cebu, to defray the expenses of its anti-drug abuse programs.

The provincial government, through the Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Office, declared Barangay Bingay as one of the 25 top performing barangays in the province during the Sugbo Kontra Droga program evaluation.

Barangay Bingay officials submitted a resolution requesting for financial assistance to pay for the expenses of their anti-drug abuse programs and activities.

Provincial Board member Jude Thaddeus Sybico approved the resolution.
