More than 800 runners will be out on the streets for the 11th edition of the ‘Pink Run’ tomorrow morning starting and ending at the Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu.

Spearheaded by Philippine College of Surgeons Cebu Central-Eastern Visayas Chapter and Philippine Society of General Surgeons Cebu-Eastern Visayas chapter, the running event aims to promote breast cancer awareness.

The race features 3-kilometer, 6K and 12K categories.

"We will be there rain or shine and we are ready. This is our way of promoting breast cancer awareness and early detection. We are also advocating healthy lifestyle," said head organizer Dr. Peter Mancao.

Aside from the Zumba exercise, there will also be a breast cancer awareness forum after the race.

Interested parties may still register today at the ‘Think Pink Desk’ located at the Active Zone of Ayala Center Cebu. Registration fee is P500 for all categories.—
