The late Mandaue City Councilor Demetrio “Tatay Jun” Cortes Jr. will be laid to rest at the city’s Catholic cemetery this afternoon.

The remains of Cortes will be brought to the National Shrine of St. Joseph for a Requiem Mass and funeral rites at 3 p.m. from the Cortes ancestral house in Barangay Centro, near the Doctor Ignacio M. Cortes Hospital.
