Angels and demons

-

Ever experienced doing something you really believed was amazing, only to be reprimanded and told, “That was really bad”?

Ever experienced you being an angel to someone only to be accused as being the demon?

Well, you’re in good company.

Jesus heals someone by driving out demons, and the Pharisees exclaim, “But of course, His subjects obey the prince of demons.”

Wow! What logic. What envy. What insecurity.

Most appalling is that the Pharisees believed they were the angels and that Jesus was the prince of demons!

But what’s most tragic is that Pharisees are still very much alive today: when you think that you’re the only one who’s right and everybody else is wrong, when you declare that only you can do something good and nobody else can. Be careful. Be very, very careful. You might be a Pharisee come alive.

And you might be confusing angels and demons.
