Angelina Cruz reaches 1 million Spotify streams
Following the success of her debut single “Sumilong Ka” and her version of the Orange and Lemons classic “Hanggang Kailan (Umuwi Ka Na Baby),” both of which have reached over one million streams on Spotify, Angelina Cruz is back to serenade listeners with her latest single “Kaya Mo Ba?”
The Tagalog-English song explores the story of a girl’s longings and well wishes to her possible suitor, waiting to see if he is up for the test of being in a relationship with her, all while being narrated through Angelina’s signature sweet-sounding voice.
Talking about the tune, the eldest daughter of Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano says: “I love how this is my first Taglish song; it shows how my upcoming EP has a variety of songs, allowing me to expand both my musical genre and language more.”
Now available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, and Amazon under Universal Records, “Kaya Mo Ba?”, which leads up to the release of her self-titled debut album on July 20 under Universal Records, aims to become a hit to everyone who has experienced the same feelings of “kilig,” and are looking to be charmed further by the singer.
