Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” in its habitat, and my selfie with it. 7. My own published work of semifiction. 8. My own published work of semifiction’s film adaptation. 9. My own published work of semifiction’s ride at a theme park. 10. My own published work of semi-fiction being read in secret by schoolchildren, because it is banned in some countries. 11. The other 90 percent of an iceberg. 12. My grandma traveling, seeing the world. 13. My best friend’s wedding. 14. Proof that there will be no zombie apocalypse. 15. Proof that aliens walk among us (and come in peace). 16. My own cabin in the woods that will fit everyone I love (roughly seven stories, about 14 rooms, seven bathrooms, a kitchen stocked like a bunker). 17. A Temple of the Dog reunion concert, with someone who will tolerate tears. 18. Hard copies of my entire Discogs wantlist in my room. 19. My dearest and favorite professor, Ilma, who will probably ask me why I gave up on my dreams (LOL). 20. Equality, across the board, all over the world. 21. That being said, more men holding doors open for women would still be nice. #HODOR. 22. Patti Smith, in a corner of some restaurant alone, reading, writing, smoking, not giving a f*ck. 23.
