Park, David share top honors in South­woods se­niors

Brian Park came through with clutch pars to card a net twounder 70 and nip Rex Salazar in the count­back to cap­ture the Class A crown in the sec­ond Se­niors Trimester Birth­day Bash golf tour­na­ment at Manila South­woods re­cently.

Park and Rex Salazar wound up with iden­ti­cal 70s in the 18hole tour­na­ment or­ga­nized by the Manila South­woods se­niors chap­ter headed by pres­i­dent and tour­na­ment chair­man Paco Gon­za­lez.

Boy David sub­mit­ted a nine­un­der 63 and dom­i­nated Class B with Jojo Lee plac­ing sec­ond with a 70.

Fred Javel­lana, on the other hand, took the Class C plum with a six-un­der 66 to de­feat Rolly Di­zon by nine in the event spon­sored by BMG So­lar and backed by Brain­mas­ter, Goutri­tis, Me­gafiber, Red Ea­gle Lend­ing In­vestors Corp, Ro­mago Inc. and San Miguel/ Pure­foods are the other spon­sors.

Gov. To­mas Jo­son hit to within 15 feet off the cup at South­woods’ Mas­ters No. 3 to claim the near­est to the pin honors while Bert La­gaya hit the most ac­cu­rate drive.
