OMD Phl bags 5 ICE Awards
Driven by fearless media ideas and executions, OMD Philippines bagged five awards at the recently concluded 2017 MSAP ICE Awards held last weekend in Baguio City.
As first-time participants in the award-giving body, OMD took home Bronze ICE Awards from three out of seven categories in the following campaigns: one Multimedia award from McDonald’s New Chicken Fillet Itialiana, one Branced Content award for McDonald’s New Chicken Fillet Italiana, one Multimedia award for Department of Tourism More Fun Idols Frontliner campaign and one Digital award for Nissan Sylphy Sentra Reborn.
The 2nd MSAP ICE Awards received a total of 133 entries, which were shortlisted to 20 agencies and publishers who won 90 Bronze and 40 Silver ICE Awards in the seven categories: Single Medium, Multimedia, Activation, Branded Content, Data and Not-for-Profit Campaign.
This year’s committee adheres to its strict screening processes judged based on the ICE standards – Insights, Creativity and Effectiveness. Apparently, none of the entries made it for the Gold and Platinum ICE Awards this year. Thus, no special awards were given out, including Media Agency of the Year and Advertiser of the Year.
