Metrobank continues its tradition of giving back to communities by supporting various social developments as its corporate social responsibility arm, Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI), and the Ty family foundation, GT Foundation Inc. (GTFI), recently held the 2017 Anniversary Grants Turnover Ceremony at the Metrobank Plaza Auditorium in Makati City. Led by Metrobank Group chairman George S.K. Ty, chairman Arthur Ty, president Fabian Dee, MBFI president Aniceto Sobrepeña and GTFI president and Federal Land chairman Alfred Ty, a total of 37 organizations focusing on HEAL – Health, Education, Arts and Livelihood – received grants at the event. Aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), HEAL serves as the framework for the two foundations’ partnerships with around 100 organizations that work towards nation-building. Truly, it is truly more wonderful to give than to receive. Kudos to Metrobank and to the Ty family for their continuous generosity!
