Arms show up at sM Mega­mall

The De­fense & Sport­ing Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 marks its 25th year to­mor­row with an ar­ray of mod­ern weaponry, ac­tiv­i­ties, in­ter­est­ing sem­i­nars on tap for gun en­thu­si­asts at SM Mega­mall in Man­daluy­ong.

A wide se­lec­tion of firearms, am­mu­ni­tion and shoot­ing para­pher­na­lia will be show­cased in the coun­try’s long­est run­ning five-day gun ex­hibit which opens to the pub­lic at 10 a.m., ac­cord­ing to world shoot­ing cham­pion Jethro Dion­i­sio, pres­i­dent of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Firearms and Am­mu­ni­tion Deal­ers of the Philip­pines, Inc. (AFAD).

Di­rec­tor Gen­eral Ron­ald Dela Rosa, chief of the Philip­pine National Po­lice (PNP), has been in­vited as guest of honor and speaker dur­ing the ribbon cut­ting cer­e­monies at 11 a.m. on Fri­day.

In part­ner­ship with the PNP, the DSAS will again spear­head the Firearms Car­a­van which will process ap­pli­ca­tions for Li­cense to Own and Pos­sess Firearms (LTOPF), Per­mit to Carry Firearms Out­side of Res­i­dence (PTCFOR) and Pro­vi­sional LTOPF.
