TECH TALKING POINTS
1. STATION WAGON There’s no longer a station wagon unless you count the Outback. Subaru has chosen the side of efficiency in the packaging of the Levorg. It fits the wagon bill and ticks all the right boxes.
2. FB16 BOXER ENGINE
Subaru’s latest turbo boxer engine is also the smallest we’ve seen from the manufacturer. Direct-injection allows for higher compression and better off-boost power without the need for premium fuel.
3. SOFT-TOUCH SURFACES
There are plenty of premium-feeling materials. Blue stitching instead of the sportier red is a neat touch.
Subaru’s collection of driver aids make their cars some of the highest-rated vehicles in terms of safety.
Increasing cargo capacity without changing the suspension tuning would wreak havoc on the ride and handling characteristics otherwise.
