No one likes de­lays or long pro­cesses. It’s in­evitable if you have miss­ing of­fi­cial pa­pers and doc­u­ment to sub­mit and file. So make sure you have th­ese on hand and ready for fil­ing af­ter in­form­ing the in­sur­ance com­pany about the car ac­ci­dent. Don’t for­get the po­lice re­port, a pho­to­copy of the in­sured ve­hi­cles cer­tifi­cate of regis­tra­tion and of­fi­cial re­ceipt, your mo­tor­car in­sur­ance pol­icy num­ber and of­fi­cial re­ceipt. Also, the sten­cil of the ve­hi­cle’s mo­tor or chas­sis numbers, re­pair cost es­ti­mates from at least two re­pair shops. For third party claims in­volv­ing bod­ily in­jury or death, make sure to bring orig­i­nal med­i­cal re­ceipts and or death cer­tifi­cate. Take note and bring as well other per­ti­nent doc­u­ments that is re­lated to your mo­tor­car in­sur­ance claim. Don’t de­lay the process.
