“from THE hinterlands TO THE world.” Joseph started shoot­ing pro­fes­sion­ally while still a col­lege sopho­more tak­ing up film at the Univer­sity of the Philip­pines-Dil­i­man’s Col­lege of Mass Com­mu­ni­ca­tion and hasn’t looked back since, shoot­ing cov­ers, edi­to­ri­als, and por­traits for nu­mer­ous lo­cal magazines. His def­i­ni­tion of style? “Ef­fort­less­ness makes a per­son stylish,” he says. “I love the sub­jects of Bill Cun­ning­ham’s photography. I think style is found in pub­lic, on the streets, more than on the red car­pet.”
