Omega redesigns its storied Speedmaster series.

ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED CHRONOGRAPHS IN THE WORLD GETS A FASHIONABLE UPDATE.

can one transform the speedmaster, a watch inspired by racing and closely linked to adventure (it’s been part of all six lunar landings) into a timepiece for women? How does one weave in glamour with the rugged DNA that has impressed competitive drivers since 1957 and made it one of the most recognized chronographs in the world today?

the answers are in Omega’s latest speedmaster collection. to update the classic, Omega has tinkered with its proportions, whittling its wrist size down to 38 millimeters, and also tuned its color scheme with the introduction of the undeniable pairing of a gold-and-steel case with a brown leather strap. to create a chic, twotone look, Omega combines the blush of cream and a neutral brown in oval subdials. surrounding its tachymeter scale is a diamond-paved bezel that allows the speedmaster to go from day to night. At its heart, however, is the functionality that catapulted the original model to fame more than 60 years ago, still boasting superior performance thanks to its Omega calibre 3330 with co-axial technology.
