Tod’s Time­less Icons.

One of Tod’s ma­jor events in 2017 wasn’t a de­but of a sea­son’s col­lec­tion, but the pre­sen­ta­tion of a new col­lectible tome. En­ti­tled Time­less Icons, the lat­est book from the Ital­ian lux­ury leather goods la­bel as­sem­bles some of the world’s most fa­mous trend­set­ters in a rare col­lec­tion of por­traits. Launched at the Padiglione d’Arte Con­tem­po­ranea in Milan and at the Tod’s flag­ship bou­tique on Omote­sando in Tokyo, the book salutes style mavens past and present, from Hol­ly­wood and be­yond. Fea­tured in its pages are mod­els, so­cialites, and celebri­ties from var­i­ous decades, from two of the high­est paid mod­els in the 1960s, Ver­uschka and Marisa Schi­a­par­elli Beren­son, ’80s golden girl Lau­ren Hut­ton, to a more cur­rent crop of red car­pet crowd­pleasers such as Gisele Bünd­chen, Cate Blanchett, and Gigi Ha­did.
